Looks like TMac could be headed to the New York Knicks. The deal would put the Washington Wizards' Caron Butler and Brendan Haywood on the Rockets. The Washington Wizards would get the New York Knicks' Al Harrington. The stickly part of the trade is that TMac gets $23 million a year so the New York Knicks would have to provide another player like Larry Hughes, Eddy Curry, or Jared Jeffries.

The Rockets are holding onto 3rd place as of 2-11-0 in their division without TMac.

12-29 Tracy McGrady was put on indefinite leave from the team while trade opportunities are assessed. The Rockets are 3rd in their division and 7th in the conference.

The Rockets managed to squeak by the New Jersey Nets thanks to big plays by Carl Landrey and Aaron Banks on 12-26.
