2009 - 2010 Season

Looks like TMac could be headed to the New York Knicks. The deal would put the Washington Wizards' Caron Butler and Brendan Haywood on the Rockets. The Washington Wizards would get the New York Knicks' Al Harrington. The sticky part of the trade is that TMac gets $23 million a year so the New York Knicks would have to provide another player like Larry Hughes, Eddy Curry, or Jared Jeffries.

The Rockets are held onto 3rd place on 2-11-0 in their division without TMac.

12-29 Tracy McGrady was put on indefinite leave from the team while trade opportunities are assessed. The Rockets are 3rd in their division and 7th in the conference.

The Rockets managed to squeak by the New Jersey Nets thanks to big plays by Carl Landrey and Aaron Banks on 12-26.

The Rockets were in 2nd place in the Southwest Division on 11-17-9. They were in 6th place in the Western Conference with 6 wins & 4 losses.

Coach Rick Adelman has moved into the 11th spot for most regular season wins

Expect the Rockets to run the baskets this year. Trevor Ariza is expected to excel with a running game established. Add to the mix Chase Buddinger, Jermaine Taylor, and David Andersen and we have some exciting basketball coming our way.

The Rockets signed up Jermaine Taylor and Chase Budinger to multiple year deals. Chase comes from Arizona and Jermaine comes from Central Florida.

Dikembe Mutombo wants to made his final season memorable. He's the big man on the court whenever Yao is sidelined. He started 33 games in 2007 and averaged 3 points, 6 rebounds and 1 blocked shot.
